Application
Application Process
The ethics review process begins with completing the Ethics Self-Assessment. Once this is done, the researcher must submit the full application at least 13 days before the next Ethics Review Board (ERB) meeting. The necessary documents for this submission can be downloaded from the OHB.
After submission, the board will make a decision in one of the following two meetings. Although efforts are made to address applications in the immediate next meeting, this cannot be guaranteed.
It is important to note that only funded projects are eligible for review. The researcher must approach the Ethics Review Board before starting data collection, as retrospective evaluation is not possible.
